Sanctuary
Take me where the horses trot
Not a human in sight
Simply wild nature in all its visual and sonic glory
Listen to the thunder of hooves
Pounding the ground day and night
Clouds of dust rise like mist from a lake
As the powerful beasts flex their might
Flowers of lavender and gold in distant fields
Take heed of the violent vibrations
They are safe for now
As the herd passes harmlessly
Let me breathe the air
Let me enjoy the sounds of the world
The pollution of society doesn’t dare
To sully the sanctity of this place
For this is the last paradise
The only sanctuary left on the face
Of the earth

I love the feelings this invokes.
Beautiful!
